My husband and I originally wanted to have our old floors in our Victorian terrace sanded back and varnished in our front room and kitchen. When Pawel came to our home and looked under the carpet he found all the wood was rotten and there was some water damage at some point. He advised us that we would probably be better off looking into the option of replacing the floor because the cost of repairs would be very high. The majority of the floors we come across require the first approach, reguired floor sanding process by which the wood floor is resanded and sealed, it is used when you want to renovate an old floor that has become dull over time or when the floor has been damaged (i.e. scratched) and needs to be resanded in order to restore the natural beauty of the wood.
